Founded in 1990 by Jerry Flannery as a family-owned sprinkler contractor, Flannery Fire built its reputation on quality workmanship and dependable service. For nearly three decades, Flannery Fire Protection focused on “Building America” through new construction projects across Southeast Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. In 2018, we became affiliated with Grunau Fire Protection—a like-minded organization with shared values. Together, we’ve continued to enhance our services with shared resources and expertise.

In 2023, Flannery joined the DU Family of Companies. As part of this national network, we remain locally operated but now have access to even more resources, support, and technical depth—giving our customers the best of both worlds. Our evolution from a sprinkler-only company to a full-service provider reflects our commitment to “maintaining America,” with a strong focus on service, inspections, and long-term safety partnerships.
